Released onto TMP
We are pleased to announce a new partnership with Neal Reid to commercialize his new one-hour card game VIII Corps: The Somme 1916.

In the introduction, Neal describes the game as follows:
This two-player card game covers the experience of the British VIII Corps on the first day of the Battle of the Somme, July 1st, 1916.
The game follows the course of the pre-battle preparation and the first day of the battle itself. One player is commander of VIII Corps, Lt. General Sir Aylmer Hunter-Weston. The other, his opponent, Lt. General Hermann von Stein commander of the German XIV Reserve Corps.
This is not a balanced game, and one where the British will find it very hard to win.
The game is currently in the final stages of development. The PDF release is scheduled for the end of April, when it will be released in separate A4 and U.S. letter versions. The PDF bundle will contain a rules booklet, a booklet of illustrated examples of play, and three sets of cards for you to print at home. We are contemplating producing printed cards if there’s sufficient demand.
If you would like to know more, you can read about Neal’s early development work on his blog and you can sign up online to be notified of the release date and let us know if you’d be interested in printed cards.
