In the last couple of days I’ve seen a few ill looking rabbits around the fields – here is a picky of one in the lower field
Well today there are empty fields and the occasional dead rabbit. Myxomatosis has come to call. When the population gets to a point it seems to come and knock it down. They will be back – but I’m more concerned for the predators – the owls, buzzards etc – what will they eat? And of course the foxes – who will now see the chickens as the next available meal!!
